The 1982 Cimbria has a far out design that is permissible to compromise ones principles. Thankfully, its Amore Cars built body has a look that is kinda mythical, and anything but typical. It is a craze you'd endorse, a powerful force, and you'd be obliged to conform when there's no other course. It used to look good to me, but now you can find this 1982 Cimbria SS bidding for $7,200 reserve-not-met !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! located in Morrill, NE.

The VW engine is so powerful, that it's simply unavoidable. Looking good is a trend that's irreversible and yer gonna be invincible. It's a natural law and leaves me in awe, but those gullwing doors deserves the applause, I surrender because a Ferrari used to look good to me, but now I found a Cimbria irresistible.

I quite like the Cimbria. Somehow the gull wing doors and fixed windscreen make slightly more sense to me than the sister-car Sterling's tilting canopy. Neither are safe in a roll-over... but that is probably the least of the safety issues... and one doesn't buy a kit car to live in a padded cell of safety.

A Porsche flat-6, or a mazda rotary conversion would be EPIC in a car like this... and I would probably delete the front bumper (useless at that height, except maybe finding curbs when parking, the car is a ramp anyway...)

I would probably also black-out the side sills... they shouldn't be emphasized with bright paint... the door handles should probably be de-emphasized, as well, if not shaved entirely.

The GM tail lights are a nice touch... I cannot remember what car they are specifically from... likely an H-body (70's era GM compact cars) like a Pontiac Sunbird or something... they look almost identical to a DeLorean, but the lighting elements aren't in the same locations... the DMC12's turn signals were outboard, not inboard of the red tail lights.
